In this strengths-focused and neurodivergent affirming program for adults (18+) with ADHD, we will:
- establish trust and build a supportive community with other ADHD adults
- learn how ADHD, executive function skill gaps, and motivation impact our daily lives
- commit to accepting and accommodating challenges
- identify cognitive and emotional obstacles that interfere
- set goals and practice evidence based strategies to reach them
- design and implement organizational systems
- become time wise, tackling prioritization, task lists and scheduling
- chunk, plan and implement a personal project
- connect and show compassion for others managing ADHD symptoms
- celebrate our successes and create a toolbox for moving forward
Program includes:
- 12 structured group sessions
- Weekly psychoeducation on ADHD topics
- Evidence based interventions for EF challenges
- Peer support and accountability
- A sense of community and belonging
- Weekly check-ins
- Access to ADHD resources on client portal
- Group session email/text reminders
