Testimonials
I cannot recommend Meg and her coaching services highly enough! Her approach was the perfect blend of practical suggestions, compassion and accountability, emotional insight, and big picture thinking. Working with her was exactly what I needed to recover from ADHD-fueled burnout and return to work and school more confident and capable than I was before.

A Life-Changing Experience with Spark ADHD Coaching! We’ve been working with Meg from Spark ADHD Coaching for about a year and a half and I can honestly say it has been a game changer for our family. As parents of an ADHD child, we’ve always felt like we were constantly scrambling to find effective strategies that actually work. But thanks to Meg, we finally have a clear, actionable plan in place. What sets Meg apart is not just her wealth of knowledge and practical strategies, but also her incredible ability to make us feel understood and supported. She has a gift for normalizing the experience of parenting a differently wired child, and every conversation with her leaves us feeling more confident and hopeful. Meg has provided us with countless tools and techniques that are already making a huge difference in how we support our daughter. More importantly, she’s helped us approach parenting from a place of empathy and understanding, rather than frustration. We now feel like we’re on the same team, with a strong plan in place for the first time.

Meg provides the knowledge, support, and practical feedback I've needed to start new or challenging endeavors. She's an empathetic and active listener, and reminds me of my worth and value while always helping to keep my important goals in clear sight. Her feedback has done wonders for me professionally and our sessions keep me from giving up on myself.

Working with Meg has been one of the best investments of my life. A truly life changing experience. She is incredibly knowledgeable about ADHD and was able to understand me as a unique individual, allowing her to "tailor" (see what I did there?) her coaching to ME PERSONALLY. She is kind, compassionate and insightful. Overall, an incredible person!!!

Meg came highly recommended and for good reason. From the start of our 11-week session until the end we have seen our household go from stressful chaos to more peaceful. We have learned strategies and tools to better communicate with our ADHD son, as well as with each other.

My sessions with Meg got me to pay better attention to my ADHD strengths and limitations and how to recognize them earlier, and most importantly, got me to trust and use my strengths more often in my work or when making decisions. Meg got me to see I work better with an action plan when I'm feeling down on myself, which was a vital piece of working through some of my self-defeating thoughts.

Working with Meg is an empowering experience. She can think as fast as I can but also slow things down and pull things into clear focus. Her systemic perspective helps clients understand that ADHD people do not need to totally conform to fit into a world that isn't made for their brains. With Meg's help, clients begin to realize that ADHD is not a deficiency, but a strength and learn how to advocate for themselves. Her goal is to empower clients with the ability to implement the changes needed for growth and success.

I would absolutely recommend Spark ADHD Coaching and Consulting to others because it has helped me to develop customized interventions to help my family function in a more efficient, peaceful and loving way. Before starting with Meg, I was distraught by the direction my relationship with my ADHD son was heading. As he approached adolescence, he and I were often at odds. My every attempt to enforce discipline resulted in him digging in his heels and escalating his behavior. It created tension and negativity for the whole family. Implementing a new system has resulted in better behavior, less conflict, and a more positive family dynamic. In addition to structure, Meg helped me learn ways to help my kid feel successful, grow in his independence, and increase the positive connection between us. I am incredibly grateful to Meg for her support, understanding, and guidance.

I came to Spark ADHD in the lead-up to my wedding. I had never such a large challenge as an adult, and I was really struggling to catch up, be effective, and make my partner feel supported. Meg met me exactly where I was, encouraged me to set aside my feelings of failure, guilt and shame, and worked with me to break down huge tasks into manageable ones. Ever tried to start a task that you've been dreading, telling yourself that this time you'll just do it, and still you've found yourself watching YouTube, convincing yourself that you'll do it later? Obsession over lost time and missed opportunities, negative self-talk, and dopamine-seeking behavior can easily trip you up on the way to your goals. Meg has taught me strategies and methods that allow me to be persistent, in the face of both internal and external obstructions. Thank you, Meg, for helping me identify and stick to paths forward in the fog of uncertainty that I may never have found alone, and for lending me the courage to keep going.

My family would ABSOLUTELY recommend Spark ADHD (and already have) to individuals and families. Meg's approach to a wary teen and a nervous mom was perfect. She never seemed to take a side, but held both of us accountable in a gentle but firm way. The tools Meg shared with us as a family dealing with ADHD were practical and possible - both mom and son were able to do the work. Our relationship has strengthened and the tension has lessened considerably at home. My patience has allowed us to meet in a new way - and get to resolution and good humor much more quickly. Our coaching was a wonderful experience all around. Looking forward to coming back!

I achieved my academic and personal goals and I no longer believe that I can not do something because of my learning challenges. Now I am planning and scheduling events and my life around the planner and writing things down which I never did before. I've learned to keep going even when I feel like giving up and to plan fun activities in between things I don't want to do as a way to stay motivated. I now know I can focus on achieving my goals if I use the tools I learned during coaching sessions with Meg.

Meg is a caring and compassionate professional. She offers constructive advice and suggestions from a place of both personal experience and decades of professional work. We had gone from therapist to specialist, looking for support for my children with ADHD. We mostly got the same old tips you can find anywhere on the internet. Meg came from a place of nonjudgement, with a flexible, solution-oriented approach, which was so refreshing. She continues to support our family, both through group and individual support. I highly recommend Meg to any family who is looking for answers or support around ADHD.

Connecting with Meg has been such a beneficial experience. As an adult who was diagnosed later in life, she has helped me to find resources, connected me with a wonderful medical provider, and generally supported me on my journey. I owe her a huge debt of gratitude. I now feel that I am getting the support and help that I need to achieve my goals.

Meg guided me in preparing my concerns and requests for my son's school meetings and attended one with me as an advocate, which I appreciated because her presence helped me stay calm. His school included nearly all of our suggestions into his new IEP and I'm already seeing an improvement with his teacher and peers. Meg also supported my own ADD with empathy and understanding and reminded me to show myself compassion and praise, encouraging self-care every day, because parenting a high-energy, impulsive, neurodivergent child when you yourself have ADD can be really, really hard.

Meg has been very helpful. She has given me a lot of tools to work with in terms of setting goals and recognizing the necessary steps to complete tasks. Using these tools in my daily life has allowed me to accomplish more in a day than I would have otherwise. I can say without a doubt that taking the steps I have to achieve my health, relationship and employment goals has been remarkably easier, and I really appreciate it.

Meg is knowledgable, skilled, and responsive. She respects children as they are, while considering how best to help them succeed. They respond well to Meg's intent attention and flashes of humor. If you've dealt with a child with behavioral issues, it's a relief to have her non-judgmental and compassionate support, and a judicious prescription for action.

Meg, Thank you so much for helping me through the last several months. You really helped reduce the mental and emotional static by taking action in a focused and meaningful way. I realized that often when I feel anxious it's because I'm not taking action. Even "doing" simple or small things helps chip away at the amorphous and oppressive weight I put on myself. Needless to say, working together was a good fit and I can't imagine how things could have gone much better! Thank you again for your compassionate and creative work!

We contacted Meg to coach our young adult child who is living at home. They had left college after two semesters and were struggling with academic motivation, career direction, and relationships. Meg met them with nonjudgement and acceptance. She supported them in exploring their passions and strengths while improving their outlook towards a future they could create with small weekly action steps, planning and support. They are currently taking a couple online classes in a career area that excites them. Meg also helped them respond differently to their rejection sensitivity and years of self-blame and now they seem to better understand their ADHD and can apply tools and skills to manage it more effectively.

I signed up for a free consultation and was quite impressed! I figured we'd just discuss basic administrative things about available services, techniques, etc... Instead what I got were some practical and personalized inbox management tips and a greater understanding of how ADHD coaching works. Meg was very friendly and engaging and her expertise was evident as we discussed my situation (she's clearly worked with many others with similar struggles as me!). I left hopeful I'd get a chance to join a future coaching group of hers and learn more.

Meg has been doing ADHD coaching with my 20 yo daughter with significant ADHD. I already see my daughter implementing strategies from her coaching sessions. Additionally, we engaged in some family consultation sessions and Meg expertly facilitated which helped us as parents help our daughter move forward in her life. Meg's mental health background has been super helpful in navigating emotionally charged conversations.

Meg is an incredible coach, listener, counselor, and teacher. I sought coaching from Meg after feeling like I’d become desperate to change my life. I’d just turned 33, was diagnosed with ADHD as a young teen, had read plenty of books on the subject, and had even worked with a so-called expert for many years. I was unsure what an ADHD coach could possibly do for me at this juncture. But Meg has really helped me move into stages of ACTION. She is incredibly encouraging without being condescending, is not afraid to tell the truth, and has shown me so many strengths I didn’t know I had. I think Meg has helped me build and maintain many healthy new patterns, and instilled in me a new sense of pride.
