Testimonials
Meg is a caring and compassionate professional. She offers constructive advice and suggestions from a place of both personal experience and decades of professional work. We had gone from therapist to specialist, looking for support for my children with ADHD. We mostly got the same old tips you can find anywhere on the internet. Meg came from a place of nonjudgement, with a flexible, solution-oriented approach, which was so refreshing. She continues to support our family, both through group and individual support. I highly recommend Meg to any family who is looking for answers or support around ADHD.

Working with Meg is an empowering experience. She can think as fast as I can but also slow things down and pull things into clear focus. Her systemic perspective helps clients understand that ADHD people do not need to totally conform to fit into a world that isn't made for their brains. With Meg's help, clients begin to realize that ADHD is not a deficiency, but a strength and learn how to advocate for themselves. Her goal is to empower clients with the ability to implement the changes needed for growth and success.

Meg is knowledgable, skilled, and responsive. She respects children as they are, while considering how best to help them succeed. They respond well to Meg's intent attention and flashes of humor. If you've dealt with a child with behavioral issues, it's a relief to have her non-judgmental and compassionate support, and a judicious prescription for action.

I achieved my academic and personal goals and I no longer believe that I can not do something because of my learning challenges. Now I am planning and scheduling events and my life around the planner and writing things down which I never did before. I've learned to keep going even when I feel like giving up and to plan fun activities in between things I don't want to do as a way to stay motivated. I now know I can focus on achieving my goals if I use the tools I learned during coaching sessions with Meg.

Meg helped me set goals for how I wanted my child's life to look at home and at school and to feel more confident creating the structures, routines, and reward systems that he needed to better self-regulate. She guided me in preparing my concerns and requests for his IEP meetings and attended one with me as an advocate, which I appreciated because her presence helped me stay calm. His school included nearly all of our suggestions into his new IEP and I'm already seeing an improvement with his teacher and peers. Meg also supported my own ADD with empathy and understanding and reminded me to show myself compassion and praise, encouraging self-care every day, because parenting a high-energy, impulsive, neurodivergent child when you yourself have ADD can be really, really hard.

Connecting with Meg has been such a beneficial experience. As an adult who was diagnosed later in life, she has helped me to find resources, connected me with a wonderful medical provider, and generally supported me on my journey. I owe her a huge debt of gratitude. I now feel that I am getting the support and help that I need to achieve my goals.

We contacted Meg to coach our young adult child who is living at home. They had left college after two semesters and were struggling with academic motivation, career direction, and relationships. Meg met them with nonjudgement and acceptance. She supported them in exploring their passions and strengths while improving their outlook towards a future they could create with small weekly action steps, planning and support. They are currently taking a couple online classes in a career area that excites them. Meg also helped them respond differently to their rejection sensitivity and years of self-blame and now they seem to better understand their ADHD and can apply tools and skills to manage it more effectively. Thank you Meg!

Meg has been very helpful. She has given me a lot of tools to work with in terms of setting goals and recognizing the necessary steps to complete tasks. Using these tools in my daily life has allowed me to accomplish more in a day than I would have otherwise. I can say without a doubt that taking the steps I have to achieve my goals has been remarkably easier, and I really appreciate it.

Sometimes graduate school feels never-ending. I have wanted to quit so many times I've lost count. When I see my neurotypical peers manage their academic responsibilities, a full time job, on top of personal or family obligations, I feel frustrated (resentful?) because I can barely manage and everything takes me longer to accomplish. Anyway, when I started working with Meg, we created a schedule that fit in all necessary tasks, classes, work and relaxation times, set reminders and weekly goals, and I began to get more done in a week and as a result, felt less overwhelmed. My new medication has helped as well. Most importantly though is the weekly encouragement that Meg provides to keep going.
